Jameson Caskmates Stout Edition Irish Whiskey
Jameson Caskmates sees the reuse of old whiskey barrels. Nothing new in that, but in between, they’ve been used to age stout from Cork’s Franciscan Well brewery. This has added notes of cocoa, coffee and butterscotch to this classic Irish whiskey.

Like all the best conversations, the one between Jameson’s Head of Whiskey Science and the Head Brewer of a local craft beer brewery, started at the bar. A swapping of whiskey and beer barrels soon after, resulted in Jameson Caskmates Stout Edition – triple-distilled, blended Irish Whiskey that has been patiently finished in Irish craft beer-seasoned barrels.
A unique offering from Jameson with rich stout characteristics of coffee, cocoa, and a hint of hops. Caskmates has been aged in Jameson barrels that were used to finish Franciscan Well stout. The finish is long and sweet with milk chocolate and butterscotch.
